Purpose

Research Foundry is the research acceleration layer within the EchoHuman ecosystem.

Its purpose is to shorten the distance between:

Signal → Evidence → Understanding → Action

while preserving provenance, traceability, reflection and strategic discipline.

Research Foundry is not a standalone application.

It is a methodology, workflow and intelligence layer built on top of existing EchoHuman infrastructure.

Why It Exists

A significant amount of infrastructure has already been built across the EchoHuman ecosystem.

These systems include:

  • source ingestion
  • intelligence databases
  • documentation systems
  • dashboards
  • publication systems
  • AI-assisted analysis workflows

The next challenge is not building more infrastructure.

The challenge is learning from the infrastructure already created.

Research Foundry exists to turn accumulated information into accumulated intelligence.

Core Principle

The objective is not to produce more content.

The objective is to improve understanding.

Research Foundry seeks to identify:

  • recurring themes
  • recurring claims
  • emerging signals
  • areas of agreement
  • areas of disagreement
  • strength of evidence
  • strength of sentiment
  • strategic opportunities
  • strategic risks

The system should help answer:

  • What keeps appearing?
  • What is changing?
  • What matters most?
  • What should we investigate next?
  • What should we stop doing?

Operating Model

Research Foundry follows the EchoHuman Operating Contract.

Every project follows the same sequence:

  1. Discover
  2. Report
  3. Review
  4. Design
  5. Approve
  6. Implement
  7. Test
  8. Prove
  9. Next Stage

No implementation occurs before discovery and review.

No system is considered complete until tested and documented.

Data Architecture

Research Foundry is intended to operate on top of the existing CT320 intelligence platform.

Primary source layer:

  • intel.documents

Proposed extension layer:

  • intel.claims
  • intel.themes
  • intel.claim_theme_links

Claims inherit provenance from source documents.

All extracted intelligence must remain traceable to original sources.

Research Workflow

Typical workflow:

  1. Ingest source material.
  2. Extract claims.
  3. Assign themes.
  4. Score confidence.
  5. Score urgency.
  6. Score sentiment.
  7. Detect recurrence.
  8. Identify emerging patterns.
  9. Produce summaries and visualisations.
  10. Inform strategic decision-making.

Relationship To Existing Systems

EchoPulse

  • Captures and stores source material.

EngineHouse

  • Provides analytical and operational interfaces.

EchoPress

  • Produces publishable outputs.

Research Foundry

  • Generates structured understanding.

Docusaurus

  • Stores living documentation and operational knowledge.

Future Direction

Research Foundry is expected to become the primary mechanism through which EchoHuman evaluates ideas, tests assumptions, analyses evidence and informs future strategic direction.

The long-term objective is to create a continuously improving intelligence loop where accumulated knowledge compounds over time and helps guide the evolution of the wider EchoHuman ecosystem.
