What Has Been Built
The Lifehouse CRM is now live with a complete data model designed specifically for community resilience work:
- Geographic tracking - Locations, wards, and street addresses
- Household records - Tracking households and their contact history
- People and organisations - Residents, volunteers, staff, councillors, and community groups
- Engagement tracking - Recording doorstep contacts and follow-ups
- Needs and offers - Matching community needs with available support
- Skills database - Cataloguing resident skills and capabilities
- Consent management - GDPR-compliant consent tracking
- Stakeholder relationships - Linking people to organisations
- Demographics - Sensitive data with appropriate privacy controls
What You Can See Now
The CRM contains 71 realistic demo records showing how the system will work:
Example Records
Locations:
- Central Ward and Uplands Ward areas
- 4 street addresses in Stroud (High Street, King Street, Bath Road, Walkley Hill)
Households:
- 8 households with realistic names and contact notes
- Examples: "Smith Household", "Patel Household", "Jones Household"
People:
- 13 people including residents, volunteers, a councillor, and a faith leader
- Each with email, phone, role, and consent status
- Examples: Sarah Smith (resident interested in resilience), Tom Davies (radio amateur), James Green (parish councillor)
Organisations:
- Stroud Community Hub
- Rodborough Parish Council
- St. Laurence Church
- Stroud Valleys Resilience Group
Community Intelligence:
- Engagements: 8 doorstep contacts with summaries and follow-up notes
- Needs: 6 community needs (emergency support, education, privacy concerns, community space)

- Skills: 6 catalogued skills (DIY, growing, driving, radio, mediation, organising)
Consent & Relationships:
- 6 consent records showing GDPR compliance
- 4 stakeholder relationships linking people to organisations
What This Demonstrates
The CRM shows how Lifehouse can:
- Track community contacts - Record who was contacted, when, and what was discussed
- Match needs with offers - See what support is needed and what's available
- Build a skills database - Know who can help in different situations
- Manage consent properly - Track GDPR consent for every person
- Connect stakeholders - Link residents to community groups and organisations
- Maintain privacy - Sensitive demographic data is appropriately restricted
All data is fake - these are realistic examples, not real Lifehouse residents.
What Is Not Connected Yet
The CRM is not yet syncing with Fieldwork data.
This demo uses mock data to show stakeholders how the system will work. The real Fieldwork pilot data has not been imported because:
- Fieldwork data is test/pilot data and needs cleaning
- Consent status needs updating in Fieldwork before import
- The sync worker needs to be built and tested
Next Practical Step
To connect Fieldwork data to the CRM:
- Review and approve the mock data demo
- Update consent status in Fieldwork PostgreSQL for pilot participants
- Build a sync worker to read from Fieldwork and write to Twenty CRM
- Test the sync in dry-run mode (no actual data changes)
- Run the sync to import real Fieldwork data
Estimated time: 1-2 weeks for sync worker development and testing
Questions to Consider During Review
- Does the CRM capture the information Lifehouse needs?
- Are the relationships between objects (household-person, person-organisation) clear?
- Is the engagement tracking useful for follow-up work?
- Does the needs/offers/skills structure make sense?
- Are there any missing fields or object types?
The CRM is ready to demonstrate Lifehouse's community resilience approach to stakeholders.
